As a kid basketball was life, we were all going to be superstars, dunking on the lowest level, filling the base up with the hose only after it fell down. Working all summer to afford Jordans, pippens, uptempo, penny hardaway or, airmax. Those were the days.
Watching the ball go into the weeds knowing that one cousin would always pass it without taking off the goatheads. Patent leather and worn sun beaten basketballs. That was summer.
